The Center is working on setting up the organizing procedures for supporting and managing conferences, scientific courses and medical symposiums to highlight the Award leading role in the program fields, continuous medical education programs and community services through moral and financial support to medical events held in UAE, aiming to elevate the level of medical services, developing skills of medical staff and increasing health and cultural awareness level of community members.


An enormous number of medical events are taking place in UAE, organized by several parties who are caring to get financial and administrative support from The Award side, as its name is considered a moral support to these conferences and to highlight the award leading role in this field.

The Center for Arab Genomic Studies, a division of the Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences, will organize the 7th Pan Arab Human Genetics Conference from 18 to 20 January, at the Conrad Hotel, Dubai.
Under the auspices of the Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences, 145 specialists from inside and outside the UAE have performed the written part of the examination for the European Diploma of Intensive Care Medicine at the Events Center, Dubai Festival City.
The 8th Gulf Thoracic Conference honored Abdullah bin Souqat, a member of the Board of Trustees of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences, in recognition of his efforts in the award’s support for the conference which has become one of the most important medical events in the region.
Abdullah Bin Souqat, a member of the Board of Trustees of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences, inaugurated the training course entitled "Making Patients and Staff Safer in Radiological Imaging”, organized by the award in cooperation with the Dubai Health Authority.
Under the slogan "With Research, Possibilities are limitless", Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences launched its awareness campaign on rare diseases. The one-week campaign is held in conjunction with the Rare Disease Day, which is an annual event falls on the last day of February.
