With the social and economic development of the urban world an increase in the number of the premature babies has been remarkably noticed. An attention has been focused on thepathogenesis and development of the diseases which have grown along with the knowledge of the premature babies and physiology more and more. Such diseases have required for their remedies new supplies the most important of which have been the ventilator management along with its multiple ports and its special medications so that we would perform the intensive care for what was called for the past years as a "preterm baby" weighing not more than 500 grams. We, thanks to Allah, endeavor for guaranteeing his ideal development and growth till he is discharged from our hospitals in good health".

At this point, the social, urban and economic progress has made the natal care physician focus on the treatment of the disturbances arising out of the mentioned diseases and the avoidance thereof", he added.

"Our care for our preterm and neo-natal babies is based on keeping pace with the scientific research results in the leading centers in such field, constant communication with the seniors of such centers and working in diligent steps on simulating the technical methods followed in the countries which are interested in the health of their people and children. Such communities undertake their mission of development, building and maintenance of the main element of life which is the health of the mind, body and soul", he said.
