H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid receives the graduates of the Multiculturalism and Leadership program 13 March 2015
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance and the Patron of the Hamdan Medical Award, received the 18th and 19th batch graduates of the Multiculturalism and Leadership program organized by the Al-Maktoum College of Higher Education in Dundee, Scotland. 
 
During the meeting, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan said that he is satisfied with the benefits of the program and the good performance of the participants who were good representatives for their countries. "Thanks God, we have managed to establish the Al-Maktoum College of Higher Education in Dundee, Scotland. The college is specialized in the Islamic studies and its main role is presenting the true positive image of Islam to people all over the world.
 
Mr. Mirza Al Sayegh, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Al Maktoum College of Higher Education, said: According to the agreements signed between the Al Maktoum College of Higher Education in Dundee, Scotland, and the universities from inside and outside the AUE, each university nominates from five to ten students to participate in the program which includes many activities such as the classes, workshops, field trips and touristic tours. 
 
The students who attended the reception expressed their thanks to H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum for his generous support to the program which presents the true image of the Islam and Arabs to the world.
 
They said: The program supports the civilized and cultural communication among peoples all over the world and enriches the students’ academic experiences and strengthens their spirit of leadership and knowledge about the concept of the teamwork and the issues of the Arab nation. 
 
The reception was attended by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, Minister of International Cooperation and Development, MICAD, Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed Al Owais, Minister of Health, Maktoum bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, along with a number of senior officials.
