Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, Hamdan Medical Award participates in the Exhibition accompanying the International Family Medicine Conference, organized by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions Organization Est. in cooperation with the Dubai Health Authority and the World Federation of the World Family Medicine (16 – 18 February) at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

 

After the opening ceremony, the Award’s stand was visited by H.E. Khaled Al Kamda, Director General of Community Development Authority, Dr. Wen-Ta Chiu, Minister of Health & Welfare, Taiwan, and Dr. Tawfiq Bin Ahmed Khoja, Director General of Executive Board of Health Ministers' Council for GCC states and Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, Executive Director of the International Family Medicine Conference & Exhibition and the Global Family Medicine Alliance.

 

Mr. Abdullah Bin Souqat, the Executive Director of Hamdan Medical Award, said: The Award’s participation in such important medical activities in the UAE supports its communication with the participating healthcare professionals from all over the world to brief them on the Award’s activities and services which aim at improving the standards of healthcare sectors”, Bin Souqat said.

 

“Hamdan Medical Journal (HMJ) is available at our stand throughout the 3-days exhibition. HMJ is an important channel to publish the medical research and studies by the Arab and foreign researchers”, he added.

 

“Among the most prominent exhibits are the publications of the Award’s Center for Arab Genomic Studies which are exclusively publish the data and information extracted from CAGS’ Catalogue for Transmission Genetics in Arabs”, Bin Souqat said.
