Prof. Najib Al Khaja, Secretary General, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences, held an expanded meeting with the staff of the award to discuss the ongoing preparations for holding the Award Ceremony, which is to be held on 10 December, and the 7th Dubai International Conference for Medical Sciences, on 11 and 12 December, 2012.
During the meeting, Al-Khaja stressed on the need to harness the Award's physical and human resources to make these two important events successful, crystallize the efforts exerted by the Award over the previous two years, and reflect the great status of the Award locally, regionally and internationally.
Also, he reviewed the recommendations issued by the 25th meeting of the Award's Board of Trustees, including supporting communication and bonds of cooperation with healthcare sectors' professionals in order to enhance the Award's role in serving and improving their performances.
AL-Khaja thanked all the staff for their tireless efforts during the current term of the Award, wishing them all the best and success.
