Within the framework of its tireless efforts in marketing its activities and programs aiming to improve the local, regional and global healthcare sectors, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences has participated in the 19th Dubai Pharmaceuticals and Technologies Conference and Exhibition (DUPHAT2014) which was organized by INDEX Holding Company during the period from 10 until March 12 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Mr. Abdullah Bin Souqat, the Executive Director of the Award said: DUPHAT which is held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance and the patron of the Award, is considered one of the most prominent medical activities in the field of Pharmaceutical Technology in the Middle East.

“Along with 420 companies from 73 countries, the Award participated in the exhibition which was visited by around 18 thousand healthcare professionals. It reflects the keenness of the Award to be part of the important medical events within the United Arab Emirates to enhance its effective communication with their delegates to be aware of the Award’s activities and programs aiming at developing their professional performances”, he added.

One of these most important events is the 8th Dubai International Conference for Medical Sciences which will be held during the period from 15 to 17 December 2014, in conjunction with the Award Ceremony, on 4 main topics namely; Drug discovery, Vaccines, Targeted Therapy and Cell Therapy.
