Under the support of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences, the 3rd year Medical Students of the Dubai Medical College for Girls introducing the First step of their TO BE FREE CAMPAIGN (T.B.F. CAMPAIGN).

While launching this campaign, the 3rd Year Medical Students introducing their initial step by presenting a lecture on a common problem of back pain. The lecture will be conducted on Tuesday, 16th May, 2006 at Rashid Library Auditorium from 13.30 to 15.30 by Dr. Jennifer Crabbe of Neuro Spinal Hospital, Dubai.
 
The intention behind this campaign is to introduce a public awareness among the students first, then to their families and finally to the community. The risk factors- obesity, cholesterol & Diabetes mellitus, the stress factors of Hypertension and the unhealthy habits of sedentary lifestyle, diet and smoking. 
 
The 3rd year medical students are showing a positive step in the above areas which is part of their health education and lifestyle to modify among the medical students.
 
Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences has given the support to the students in achieving their goals as part of their objectives of providing and supporting the continuing medical education. 
 
This campaign is not only for the students, but for the physicians and also to the public.
