Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences participates in Abu Dhabi Medical Congress 2011 23 October 2011
Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences (SHAMS) participates in Abu Dhabi Medical Congress 2011 through its stand in the accompanying exhibition at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from 23 until 25 October 2011.
 
Abdullah Bin Souqat Executive Director of SHAMS said that participating in important medical exhibitions within and outside UAE, allows SHAMS to communicate with medical sectors and health institutions to promote the award’s activities and support ways of cooperation in order to upgrade health sectors and provided medical services.
 
He added that participating in Abu Dhabi Medical congress and Exhibition 2011 will allow SHAMS’ officials to identify future plans of many medical institutions in UAE, in order to hold partnership and cooperation agreements with these institutions as a step towards unifying UAE medical institutions’ efforts in order to improve their performances.
 
“Supporting partnership with health institutions is one of the award’s most important obligations towards UAE health sector”, he said.
 
Bin Souqat praised the exhibition and said that it is an important medical event in the region, in which more than 150 world companies participate to exhibit its latest innovations in the fields of emergency, patient safety, primary health and rehabilitation.
 
“I think the exhibition will be the nucleus of many important projects of SHAMS in the future”, he added.
