Hamdan Medical Award has supported the 3rd Gulf Thoracic Conference 2012, which was held from 14th till 17th of March at Intercontinental Hotel in Dubai Festival City.
The conference was organized by Saudi Thoracic Society, Emirates Allergy and Respiratory Society, in collaboration with the American College of Chest Physicians.
Abdullah Bin Souqat, the Award’s Executive Director, said that supporting the conference comes within the framework of the award’s continuous efforts on enhancing medical field, particularly Continuing Medical Education.
The conference dealt with many issues such as Asthma/Allergy, Immunology, Pulmonary Hypertension, Lung Cancer, Pulmonary Infections, Sleep Medicine, Thoracic Surgery, Interventional Lung Diseases, and Pediatric Pulmonary.
