H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance and Chairman of Dubai Health Authority opened the 38th edition of Arab Health Congress at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
 
3,500 exhibitors from 64 countries and more than 7,500 delegates and 80,000 healthcare professionals are participating in the conference and exhibition with the aim of tackling the diverse health issues ranging from the increasing demand for healthcare services, growing healthcare costs and the increasing lifestyle diseases in the region.
 
he opening ceremony was attended by UAE Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development and Acting Health Minister of Health Abdul Rahman Al Oweis, Director General of Dubai Health Authority Essa Al Maidoor and a number of government officials and heads of international companies.
