Hamdan Medical Award to Holds its Fourth Webinar 14 September 2020
Dubai-14th September2020: The Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences will hold the fourth webinar in its webinar series. The webinar, titled “Covid-19 and Pregnancy”,   will be held on September 23rd, 2020. 
 
The webinar will host talks from Professor Chittaranjan N Purandare, Emeritus Dean of the Indian College of Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Dr. Jeanne Conry, Associate Clinical Professor at the University of California, and will be moderated by Dr.Mona Tahlak, Chief Executive Officer of Latifa Women and Children Hospital, Adjunct Faculty at Mohammed Bin Rashid University, Dubai, UAE, and President of Obstetrics and Gynecology Society of Emirates Medical Association.
 
The Award launched a series of webinars last July through a session that discussed the topic of vaccines. The second webinar in this series was on the diagnosis and therapeutics of COVID-19, while the most recent webinar discussed the pulmonary pathology of early phase COVID-19. More than 2,500 participants from all over the world have been attending each of these webinars.
 
It should be noted that all participants in these webinars are able to obtain their attendance certificates through the electronic platform created by the Award specifically for these events. CME Certificates are available for immediate download upon the end of each webinar. The platform has been developed using the latest software technologies to ensure protection, security and privacy, and can be accessed via mobile devices and tablets to ensure ease of access for all users.
