Kuwait-16th December 2019: A delegation from the Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences, including HE Mirza Al Sayegh ,HE Dr. Ahmed Al Hashemi, and HE Abdullah bin Souqat, Members of the Board of Trustees of the Award participated in the meeting of the Islamic Organization for Medical Sciences in Kuwait held on Saturday, December 14, 2019.

 

The members congratulated His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al-Jarallah, the new President of the Organization who has been elected to succeed the late Abdul Rahman Al-Awadi, and wished him success in his new mission.

 

During the meeting, the members discussed the activities of the conference of the “Ethical Islamic Medical Document for All Medical Services Employees" and how to achieve its recommendations through the councils of health ministers in Islamic countries, the World Health Organization and the Islamic Fiqh Academy because of its great importance in adopting it as an ethical method in services.

 

His Excellency Mirza Al Sayegh conveyed the greetings and appreciation of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, patron of the Hamdan Medical Award to the State of Kuwait, the Emir and its people for their support to the Organization since its establishment, praising the role of the organization’s Board of Trustees in advancing its activities and its active role in all matters related to medical science from its Islamic perspective.

 

He wished His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al-Jarallah success in the leadership of the organization for the good of the Islamic nation.

 

His Excellency added that His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum is keen to support all the activities of the organization financially and morally.

 

It is worth mentioning that the Hamdan Medical Award is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Islamic Organization for Medical Sciences. It has two seats represented by: HE Mirza Al Sayegh, and Dr. Ahmed Al Hashim, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Award.
