Under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid, the 4th Middle East International Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine (MEIDAM) Conference and Exhibition will witness the launch of the latest medicines and laser devices on Thursday, 19th of September.
 
Dubai - 17 September 2019: Dr. Khaled Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the 4th Middle East International Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine Conference and Exhibition (MEIDAM), will kick off the event on Thursday under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and Minister of Finance, President of Dubai Health Authority, and in the presence of around 1,500 doctors and specialists.
 
The conference will see the latest developments in the world of laser treatments, in addition to the latest types of fillers, which are of interest to dermatologists and cosmetics, especially in light of the growing demand for this type of treatment. The event will also introduce new treatments that will be announced in the conference for the first time in the region.
 
Dr. Khaled Al Nuaimi was pleased to announce the participation of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid & Relief Centre and Al Maktoum Foundation for Charity and Humanitarian Affairs, as well as representations from the World Health Organization (WHO) and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), as a part of the tender program that launched the MEIDAM conference to establish a culture of awareness of work and giving. This is in addition to the presence of the Secretary General of the Arab League Council of Arab Health Ministers - The Arab Board of Health Specializations., Prof. Omar Al Rawas, among heads of Arab and International Societies in the fields of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery.
 
He added that international companies are looking at the Dubai market as a starting point for targeting global markets due to the strategic location of the United Arab Emirates linking East and West, especially as the market is increasing annually by 7.5 to 10%.
 
H.E. Abdulla Bin Souqat, Executive Director of the Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences, said that the attendance and participation of most dermatological societies and the World Health Organization (WHO) with distinguished lecturers is a clear indication of the importance that MEIDAM has gained worldwide. Especially for scientific papers and the latest research and studies related to dermatology.
 
Bin Souqat thanked His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, President of the Dubai Health Authority, for his patronage of His Highness towards the permanent directives of all scientific events aimed at upgrading the medical sector.
