H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum attends the 10th group wedding of the Dubai government Departments 03 April 2019
DUBAI, 3rd April, 2019 - H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and Chairman of Dubai Municipality, attended "Dubai Weddings", the 10th group wedding of the Dubai local Departments held in Zabeel Park in Dubai for 33 grooms who work in the Dubai Municipality, Health Authority, and Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activities Department.
 
Dawood Abdulrahman Al Hajri, Director-General of the Dubai Municipality said:  the ceremony represents the approaches of the Dubai Government towards building a community which enjoys prosperity and happiness and where the values of cohesion and consolidate the relations and love among the children for the nation.
 
He asserted that the municipality’s care in participating in this exceptional initiative due to its unique social importance was the first step for the nation’s youth to start their families.
 
On his part Dr. Younis Kazim, CEO of Dubai Healthcare Corporation in the Dubai Health Authority, said that the group wedding strengthens the pillars and foundations of the community and encourages the youth and motivates them to handle the responsibility to get married and start a family.
 
In the same context Dr. Omar Al Khateeb, Executive Director of the Islamic Affairs Sector at the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai and Acting Director-General of the Department, valued this initiative and the paternal care for the UAE’s sons and daughters, which strengthened the youth’s capabilities to make a happy integrated family.
