International Pediatric Summit conference events begins this February 15 February 2019
Dubai- February 2019: Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance, and President of the Dubai Health Authority, and with support from Sheikh Hamdan Bin Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences,the third Annual International Pediatric Summit conference which will take place from 14-16 February 2019 at the Hilton Dubai Hotel, Habtoor City.
 
The conference attracts a group of pediatric scientists and consultants from around the world from America, Europe and Australia, as well as a group of pediatric experts from within the region. This year's conference is expected to bring together nearly 1,000 pediatric professionals, doctors, clinical pharmacists and dietitians, enriching professional discussions within the conference.
 
Dr. Islam Baroudi, President of the Conference, said: "The conference, in its third edition this year, offers 12 scientific lectures in various pediatric specialties, in addition to 28 workshops concerned with the clinical application of pediatrics developments, all of which will contribute towards raising the efficiency of doctors in various fields of pediatric sub-specialities. We will be discussing the new advances in the treatment of acute hepatitis through the latest treatments published in the most important scientific journals, as well conduct detailed workshops on diabetes in children and the latest methods of their prevention, diagnosis and treatment "
 
He stressed the impact of the leadership of the UAE in innovation by saying, "The conference maintains its permanent slogan towards a healthy childhood. Not just in the fields of economy and tourism, but also in the field of medicine, the UAE has a high position in attracting those interested in medical affairs to hold professional conferences and medical meetings."

For his part, Abdullah Bin Suqat, Executive Director of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences, stressed the keenness of the award to support the annual International Conference on Pediatric Diseases for the second year in a row due to its importance and the richness of its scientific program which contributes greatly to the advancement of the medical sector in the country.
