Emirates Medical Association honors H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid 08 February 2017
February 8, 2017: H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, the UAE Minister of Finance, the President of Dubai Health Authority, and the Patron of the Hamdan Medical Award, has been honored from the Emirates Medical Association (EMS) by receiving the honorary membership in the association.
 
This came during the reception, held at Zabeel Palace, for a high-level delegation representing the association. The delegation included Dr. Mouza al Sharhan, the president of the EMS, Dr. Mohamed al Olama, the Secretary General, and the members of the EMS’ board of directors.
 
During the meeting, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan received a Memorial Shield and a Certificate of Appreciation from the association in recognition of H.H. vital role and unlimited support for health and medical sectors, particularly the EMS.
 
Dr. Al Sharhan praised the significant efforts exerted by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan in supporting the goals and activities of the EMA, whose main aim is to serve the medical sector within the UAE.
 
Additionally, she praised the generous donation from H.H. Sheikh Hamdan of a grant for the association to build a new headquarters in Al Mamzar area in Dubai.
