Prof. Najib Al Khaja said: “Since its establishment in 1999, Hamdan Medical Award has been the pioneer in this field by honoring the outstanding researchers in the medical arena at the local, regional and global levels, supporting the continuing medical education programs, encouraging the medical publishing in the Hamdan Medical Journal, as well as financing the high-value research projects in the major research and academic institutions within the UAE.

“The award has established the infrastructure for supporting the scientific research within the UAE, which has become in a record time a reference for many research institutions in selecting the subjects of their research, and in implementing and announcing their results for the interested institutions”.

“There is a special interest from the HMA towards the young researchers who are the nucleus of the future research movement in the UAE, in both medical and health sectors”, he added.

“I am so proud of the integration achieved in both the Medical and Health sectors within the UAE by considering the scientific method in designing their strategic plans”, he added.
