The International Federation of Oto-Rhino-laryngological Societies praises Hamdan Medical Award 10 January 2016
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, the UAE Minister of Finance and the Patron of Hamdan Medical Award received the delegation of the International Federation of Oto-Rhino-laryngological Societies, headed by Dr. Bernard Fraysse, the Vice-President, at Zabeel palace.
 
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan welcomed the delegation and confirmed submitting all the UAE logistical support for the IFOS World Congress 2021 to make it successful, especially that it will be held for the first time in the Middle East and North Africa.
 
For his part, Dr. Bernard Fraysse praised the standard infrastructure in the UAE, particularly in the cosmopolitan city of Dubai, assuring its eligibility to host such a big international event.
 
Also, Dr. Fraysse praised the vital role plays by Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences in encouraging and supporting scientists and researchers in the medical field to find therapeutic solutions for chronic diseases.
 
Attended the meeting H.E. Humaid Mohamed Al Quitami, the Chairman and Director General of Dubai Health Authority and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Hamdan Medical Award, and Dr. Hussein Abdul Rahman, Assistant Undersecretary for Health Centers and Clinics, UAE Ministry of Health, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Award, as well as number of doctors and officials.
