H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid al Maktoum opens the Arab Health Exhibition and Congress 2016 25 January 2016
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, the UAE Minister of Finance and the Patron of Hamdan Medical Award has opened the 41st edition of the Arab Health Exhibition & Congress 2016, the Middle East’s largest healthcare event and the second largest in the world.
 
The event spans over four days from January 25-28, 2016 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre and accommodates more than 4,000 companies exhibiting their latest innovations to visitors attending from 163 countries.
 
This year promises to upstage previous years by adding 3D printing to the Arab Health agenda in a newly added 3D Medical Printing Conference and a 3D printing zone, a unique open space for all those who are seeking dedicated educational experience about the latest 3D technologies. 
 
In addition, the 2016 Medlab exhibition includes more than 500 companies exhibiting their latest innovations to more than 30,000 healthcare professionals from 37 countries. 
 
The opening of the Arab Health Exhibition and Congress was attended by H.E.  Abdul Rahman Al Owais, the UAE Minister of Health, and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Hamdan Medical Award, H.E. Humaid Al Qatami, the Chairman of the board and Director General of the DHA, and the Vice Chairman of the award’s Board of Trustees, specialists, and exhibitors.
