H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance and patron of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Award for Distinguished Academic Performance, honored 244 winners in the 17th term of the award in a ceremony held at the Rashid Hall, the Dubai World Trade Centre.

 

During the ceremony, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid delivered a speech in which he referred to the massive development witnessed by the UAE in various fields which imposed a new vision and mechanisms to manage the process of Education. “In order to raise the efficiency and quality of an exceptional model of education, the award takes its national responsibility to support the development goals of education through its programs to establish the educational excellence and to encourage the gifted students”, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan said.

 

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum congratulated the winners and expressed his happiness on reaching such a distinguished level in preparing the participants and the winners for the local, regional and international competitions. Also, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan thanked all the schools and community efforts which have qualified the winners for this.
