H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid al Maktoum opens the 2nd Green Week 22 April 2015
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance and President of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa), inaugurated the 2nd Green Week and the 17th Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition, Wetex 2015, which is organized by the Dewa under the theme ‘At the forefront of sustainability’.
 
The 2nd Green Week, April 21-27, includes workshops, activities, and environmental and community initiatives tailored to raise awareness towards the rational use of electricity and water, and the importance of implementing green practices.
 
Also, Wetex2015 exhibition displays the products of more than 1696 companies, in the field of the sustainable development, from 46 countries including 26 national pavilions and over 27 government organizations from inside the UAE.
