Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid AL Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance, President of Dubai Health Authority and Patron of Hamdan Medical Award, the international 4TS, Top To Toe Transcatheter Solutions conference, was held in Dubai (19-20 February) with the participation of more than 100 leading speakers from all over the world.

 

Supported by the Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid AL Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences and Dubai Health Authority (DHA), the international 4Ts conference was organized by the International Society of Endovascular Specialists in collaboration with the American College of Cardiology Chapter in the UAE and the Emirates Cardiac Society.

 

H.E. Eng. Eissa AL Maidoor, Director General of DHA and Deputy Chairman of the Award’s Board of Trustees, opened the conference and delivered the speech of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid AL Maktoum in which he said: The development process in the UAE keeps pace with the world development in the scientific field, particularly in the medical sector, through supporting the medical research and improving the healthcare services.

 

“One of our main objectives in the current phase is to strengthen the Dubai status as a center for the regional medical tourism, through working on developing the healthcare institutions’ infrastructure and the well-qualified medical cadres”, he added.
