H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid honors H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid 03 February 2015
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, honored H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, and Sheikh Saeed bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
This came during the ceremony held to launch the UAE official annual foreign aid report for 2013 by the UAE Ministry of Development and International Cooperation, at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi. According to the report, the UAE is the first largest donor of humanitarian aid in the world, in proportion to its gross national income. During 2013, the UAE humanitarian aid touched over around AED 21.6 billion and contributed to strengthening and upgrading the development capacity of the beneficiary countries. 
On this occasion, 38 humanitarian donor organizations were honored and H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum received the award of the UAE Ministry of Finance. Also, Sheikh Saeed bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum received the award of Al Maktoum Foundation, a charity institution established under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
