The 1st UAE Clinical Simulation Conference honors Hamdan Medical Award 26 February 2014

The 1st Clinical Simulation Conference has honored Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Sciences in recognition of its great efforts in supporting the continuing medical education, particularly the conference.

The conference, which is held from 26 till 27 of February 2014 at Mohammed Bin Rashid Academic Medical Center, is organized by Dubai Medical City and endorsed by the European Society for Simulation Applied to Medicine, with the aim of shedding light on the importance of the clinical simulation to improve the provided healthcare services.

During the Opening Ceremony, Mr. Abdulla Bin Souqat, the Executive Director of Hamdan Medical Award, received the conference’s memorandum gift from Mr. Marwan Abedin, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Healthcare City. He expressed his gratitude to the efforts of the scientific and organizing committees of the conference which is the first of its kind in the MENA Region, particularly in the UAE.

“For being a part of such an important event, HMA has a stand at the accompanying exhibition. It is a good channel to meet with the delegates of the conference to explain the award’s activities and services provided to the healthcare professionals locally, regionally and internationally”, he added .
