H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum allocates $1.5 million for building 8 endowments in Kosovo 12 May 2014
Following his meeting with the Kosovan Mufti Naim Ternava, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance and patron of Al Maktoum Charity Foundation, has given his instructions for the allocation of $1.5 million for building eight endowments in the Republic of Kosovo whose revenues will go to the mosques nationwide.
 
Mohammed Obaid bin Ghannam, Secretary-General of Al Maktoum Charity Foundation, said: “The work has been commenced and it would be accomplished soon”.
 
“Earlier, a delegation from Al Maktoum foundation visited Pristina where we met with the Kosovan Mufti who briefed us on the services provided by the Kosovo's Awqaf to 800 mosques across the country”, Bin Ghannam said.
 
“During the visit, the Kosovan Mufti extended his thanks and appreciation to H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid and the government and people of the UAE for their continuous support to the people of Kosovo”, he added.
