H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid receives the trainees of Al-Maktoum Institute, Scotland 20 March 2014
H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance received 120 female Emirati university students who have participated in the training program organized by the Al-Maktoum Institute for Islamic Studies, Dundee, Scotland, at Zabeel Palace.
 
The reception comes in the framework of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum support to Al-Maktoum Institute for Islamic Studies in Scotland, as a part of his efforts to improve the educational march locally, regionally and globally, particularly among young citizens who are considered the future of the UAE and the basis of the overall development in the community .
 
During the meeting, the students thanked H.H. Sheikh Hamdan on supporting such an outstanding training program which contributes to the deepening of their culture, enriches their academic careers and life and consolidates their loyalty to home land.
 
Also, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan listened to the students’ presentation about the activities of the training course which included many important visits to significant academic and government institutions in Britain and Scotland, such as the House of Commons, UK, the Scottish Parliament and the University of Oxford.
 
The meeting was attended by H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, H.E. Mariam Mohammed Khalfan Al Roumi, UAE Minister of Social Affairs and a number of sheikhs and senior officials.
