H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid reviews draft 2013 federal budget

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, UAE Minister of Finance and President of Dubai Health Authority, chaired the meeting of the Fiscal and Economic Committee at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi.
The committee reviewed the draft budget for the fiscal year 2013, and issued its Directives to the ministry of finance to re-study it in coordination with all federal departments.
During the meeting, the committee reviewed all requests by federal ministries and departments and their potential effect on the 2012 budget as well as on the draft 2013 budget. Out of these commitments, a total of AED 606 million was approved to fund federal universities, social aid and others.
