Sheikh Hamdan award for medical sciences, research support centers task is to identify and fund the work at the frontiers of medical science in the United Arab Emirates.  Sheikh Hamdan award for medical sciences having realized the need and role for scientific research in improving the lives of people took an initiative to encourage researchers in UAE and promoting medical research.  The grants are awarded to improve and upgrade medical services systems at the local, regional levels. To date the foundation has supported over 120 research projects since 1999.

We consider proposals submitted by individual researches or a group on behalf of an organization that requires support which undergoes a critical process of evaluation that involves researchers around the world.
